| In Mrs. Powers' room, children will find a caring and
secure environment that helps them reach their full potential.
Students will learn and be able to apply concepts and principles in
reading, mathematics, writing, science, and social studies. Students
will be presented with opportunities to think and solve problems in a
variety of situations. Children are actively engaged in their learning and
encouraged to be risk-takers. High expectations are set for
all.
As a teacher, I model the lifelong guidelines and lifeskills for my students. It is my hope that children will become caring and responsible citizens with a life long love of learning. |
