Room 33/ 4th Grade

Welcome to Room 33, home of the Akard All-Stars.  My name is Lisa Akard.  This will be my eighth year teaching 4th grade at Ware.  Teaching has always been my passion and I strive to give your child a positive, fun learning experience each and every day.

Fourth grade is a very exciting year, full of academic challenges as we prepare for the Kansas state math, reading and science tests.  During the last 6 years, our fourth graders have met and surpassed these challenges, reaching the Standard of Excellence on the state testing.  I look forward to helping my students attain that excellence rating once again.  Each day will be an exciting learning adventure!  Here's to a great school year!
