Hi! My name is Stephanie Bogenhagen and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Ware Elementary.  I am originally from Russell, Kansas and went to college at Fort Hays State University.  My husband and I lived in Fort Worth, Texas for four years were I taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades.  in July of 2002, my family moved back to Kansas where I found my home in Kindergarten here at Ware.

I have found Kindergarten to be such an exciting grade to teach as you get to witness so much growth in all your students.  I love to have lots of fun in school!  We study several themes throughout the year that will include hands-on activities, discovery learning, and wonderful literature.  My favorite part of teaching are all the sweet personalities that you get to enjoy.  Each child is very unique and brings so much to the classroom. 

I truly believe that a child's school experience should be a team effort between the parents and the teacher. I have an open-door policy that invites parents into the classroom anytime, to observe or to help out with the day's activities.  I also like to have continuous communication with my parents.  I am always available before and after school as well as during my lunch to discuss any questions or concerns that parents may have.  Welcome to Ware Elementary and I hope that you and your child have a wonderful Kindergarten year.
