Holly Donahue
  Kindergarten

Hello, my name is Holly Donahue and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Ware Elementary. I was born and raised in Kansas (Wichita and Herington area). I graduated high school from Garden Plain, KS. I completed my college education at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. My husband and I just moved back to Fort Riley after spending a year at Fort Benning, GA for military training purposes. I have taught several different grade levels (Second, third, and sixth) but so far Kindergarten is definitely the grade I have enjoyed the most! I have been teaching Kindergarten since January of 2008.

Kindergarten is an exciting adventure! I incorporate fun into learning each and every day. We use rich thematic units throughout the year that involve interpersonal, creative, cognitive, physical development and hands-on activities. Building personal relationships in the classroom is very important to me. Each child brings out character and individuality to the classroom. My favorite part of teaching is being a part of a student reaching success and watching the excitement on their faces! That is very rewarding and always motivates me to work even harder to help each child  reach success.
