Kindergarten
Hi my name is Bryan Scruggs and I teach kindergarten at Ware Elementary. I was born and raised in Northeast Kansas and received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Kansas Sate University. I began teaching Kindergarten at Ware shortly after my graduation and have loved every moment of it. Kindergarten is such an thrilling time in a child’s life as they are exposed to a multitude of new and exciting opportunities. I am very excited about teaching kindergarten this year and I can’t wait for the first day of school!
Growing up as the son of a kindergarten teacher myself, I was given a great sense of appreciation for education. My evenings were spent helping my mother with her various projects for school and I spent my Saturdays decorating bulletin boards and making copies at my mom’s school. I was also instilled with the idea that teaching is not merely instruction but also compassion and responsibility. It seems as though I was raised to be a teacher. And how lucky I am! Teaching is a very noble profession and I am very glad to be a part of it. Here’s to a great year!
