Dr. Deb Gustafson

Welcome to Unified School District 475, my name is Dr. Deb Gustafson and I serve as the principal of Ware Elementary School. I have over twenty-eight years experience in this wonderful school district and have served as a building principal the past fifteen. Prior to this experience I was a classroom teacher, school secretary, classroom aide and a custodian. Experiencing these many different roles has prepared me well to serve as your building principal.
I am a life-long resident of Geary County and reside on a ranch southeast of Junction City with my family where we raise cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. My husband is a full time rancher and my daughter is a graduate of Kansas State University. My parents are semi-retired and also reside in Junction City.
Ware Elementary has a wonderful family of dedicated staff ready to assist your child in the learning process. We are here to help you have a great school year. We will emphasize attendance, academics, collaboration and citizenship. Education is a partnership between schools, parents and students and we look forward to our role in this your child's life.
