Hi, I am Jennie Black, Assistant Principal at Ware Elementary. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Kansas State University. I am a military spouse that originated in Cambridge, Illinois. My family has lived in Kansas, off and on, for the last 13 years and currently resides in Junction City. I am very familiar with deployments and the stress it places on families. I actively participate in our unit’s FRG and encourage our families to get involved with the Fort Riley community. I believe every child has a right to learn and the adults around them have a responsibility to make that happen. Please be involved with your child’s education and become a partner with your teacher to make the learning occur. We believe all our students can achieve.
